Beautiful by consequence.

We begin with friction: the cable that wanders, the note without a home, the light that tires the eyes. Then we remove material until only the useful gesture remains.

01Where are Kado objects made?

We work with three small workshops in Kyoto and Osaka. Wood pieces are finished by hand; metalwork is cut, folded and powder-coated in short production runs.

02Do materials vary?

Yes. Natural ash grain and unlacquered brass change from piece to piece. These differences are expected and make each object distinct.

03How does shipping work?

In-stock objects leave the studio within their listed lead time. Tracking is sent by email. Import duties, where applicable, are the customer’s responsibility.

04Can I order for a studio or team?

Yes. For quantities of six or more, email the studio for lead times, finish options and a consolidated shipping quote.
